About the Project
We are pleased to present the project “Villa HVAR” – a designer villa with 6 apartments, located in Ivan Dolac, a beautiful small village on the southern coast of the island of Hvar.
The idea behind the design process was to combine traditional Dalmatian construction with modern architecture. This goal was achieved by choosing local materials: Hvar stone and wood, combined with large glass surfaces that characterize contemporary architecture. We wanted every room to receive plenty of light and warmth and – most importantly – to offer a fantastic view of the sea. In addition, each apartment has its own private parking space.
Location
The location is exceptionally peaceful and ideal for a family holiday. Beautiful beaches are only 180 m away, and in absolute privacy, tranquility, and luxury, you can enjoy the private pool of Villa Hvar. However, those who wish to experience untouched nature, picturesque bays, islands, and the beauty of the Adriatic more intensely can take boat trips to the islands of Šćedro, Pelješac, Korčula, and Vis.
Hvar is very well connected to the mainland and surrounding islands with frequent ferry and catamaran services. Ivan Dolac is only 10 km from Jelsa and 30 km from Hvar Town. The construction of the new Dubovica–Sveta Nedelja road, which will reduce the travel time to Hvar to just 20 minutes, is expected to be completed this year. This road runs along a spectacular panoramic route overlooking the turquoise sea and the mountain vineyards where some of the finest wines in Europe are produced.
Within a radius of 50 km, there is no industry or other sources of environmental pollution. The beaches and sea are crystal clear, as is the fresh sea air, which is beneficial and strengthens the immune system. Drinking water comes from the source of the Cetina River and is considered among the best quality in all of Croatia.

In the immediate vicinity of Villa Hvar, there is a grocery store as well as several restaurants offering fresh fish and various local specialties. Homemade organic fruits and vegetables of incomparable taste, completely free of chemicals, are available daily.
Throughout the year, the island offers top-quality extra virgin olive oil, homemade honey, premium wines, numerous lavender products, and many other specialties, all provided directly by family farms dedicated to cultivating and producing healthy food.

The apartment at Villa Hvar was an absolute dream! The location is perfect—just a few minutes from the sea and with a fantastic view of the old town. I particularly liked the cleanliness and the lovingly furnished interior; you immediately feel welcome.
The hosts were super friendly and gave us helpful tips for excursions and restaurants. Check-in was also completely hassle-free.
One small downside: The Wi-Fi was a bit slow on some evenings, but otherwise everything was great. I will definitely be back and highly recommend the apartment!
